It has been 25 years since the 13th/18th Royal Hussars (QMO) ceased to be a Regiment of the British Army. Today the Regiment continues to exist as a group of former serving soldiers of the 13/18RH that are determined to keep the history of the regiment alive. One of our primary aims is to establish and keep a regimental presence in South Yorkshire, which since 1922 has been the main recruiting area for the 13/18th Royal Hussars.

In October of 2017, a small regimental museum was opened at Ashworth Barracks Museum in Doncaster. Using our regimental nickname, it was called the 'Lilywhite Gallery' and was officially opened by Mr Crispin Blunt MP, who himself is a former officer of the 13th/18th Royal Hussars.
